Description: eBay Listing Template r1 1 FULL SET RUSSELL ERWIN 'ALDEN' KNOBS & PLATES, KEY, MORTISE LOCK (16880-27)Very nice set that consists of 2 matching japanned plates and 2 pressed steel matching knobs, Russell & Erwin 'ALDEN' design. The set also includes a mortise lock and a key. These are circa 1900, featured in their 1900 and 1909 catalog and have a Blumin Identifier of N-11400. The mortise lock has a 5 1/4" face. The back set (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the edge of the mortise lock faceplate) is 2 5/16". The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion of the key hole) is 2 1/8". The mortise box measures 3 1/2" high and 3 1/8" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box. Plates measure 7" high and 2 1/4" wide. Original finish, still has a nice patina, very nice detail. And, all fully cleaned, restored and ready for your project. Would give a nice period look to any door!
