This copy is from a private collection .. there is no writing or name plates. Condition .. Book has an obvious slant/cock/tilt (best noted in the last set of pictures) Cover boards clearly have some wear and fading but the gilt lettering is easily read/visibleSpine while intact is frayed at both the top and bottom (noted in pictures) Spine/Binding is more faded than the cover boardsFrontispiece with tissue guard in placeThere are no torn .. loose or missing pages About one fourth of overall pages have some age spots/foxing .. (majority are tiny or very small) .. the worst example is denoted on page 47 (see picture) Note that pages 307/308 and 309/310 are approximately 4 inches across compared to every other page which is approximately 4.5 inches across .. (see picture) 359 total pages with an additional 8 pages/4 leaves of adverts (of which the first two are numbered .. 16/12 and 11/3 .. the next 3 pages are not numbered .. with the last advert page having the number 14) For its age this rare vintage title is in solid condition.
