Description: 1880-S Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS64+ for unique Terminal Toning on the Reverse. I only have this type of patina on one other coin at the moment and it's more rare than we think but it has something to do with a coin having it's "ORIGINAL SKIN" still and the reaction that has to light-which has a sort of a PL to it is the best way I know how to describe it. I know when I see it for sure! -- I'll try to add more pics if my camera can work with the light I've got later tonight better than during the day as I have to go to the shop and help my boss with some paper currency. In summary, the Obverse has an Orange tint at an angle and the Reverse is Terminal/Rainbow/Pinks/Purples at an angle. It's likely from an older canvas bank nag haul which kept it original and cooked the colors in as it takes forever to get the terminal textures(4th stage plus). For more intel check out MonsterTonedMorgans.com if you are interested in how these colors occur.
