It is from Hardesty's Historical and Geographical Encyclopedia, Illustrated (Chicago: Hardesty & Co. 1883), a copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic. Overall, a very nice map that would frame up well! Size: The map area measures approximately 10 by 13 inches on a 10 3/4 by 14 1/2" page (27x37cm) Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition for its age with bright color and light tonal ageing. There are a couple of light handling smudges around the margins, otherwise a nicely preserved map with an antique appearance that would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map. International rates apply elsewhere. The map is placed in a plastic sleeve, anchored to a stiff brown paper for support and to prevent edge damage, then shipped in a heavy duty wide shipping tube.
