Description: I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.Here we offer a set of "miniature" editions of perhaps the most beloved children's books ever: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, by Lewis Carroll, printed in 1934 and 1916, respectively, by MacMillan and Company, London, and each densely illustrated with John Tenniel's now iconic illustrations. The books were first issued in 1908, and each is addended with a special "Christmas Greeting" by Lewis Carroll. They measure approximately 6.25 x 4-inches. Included in this auction is a very extra: an antique bottle with attached "Drink Me" tag, styled after the original Alice illustration. Both books' boards have wear and soiling (please see pics). Intact endpapers are inscribed. Looking Glass has minor foxing and soiling throughout (please see pics). Bindings are very tight and square.
