Description: Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from the Warsaw ghetto Poland when it was occupied by Germany to a textile factory in Piacenza italy. Postmarked July 16, 1941. Priced to sell. Great censorship and receiver markings. Note the ghetto Judenrat or Jewish Council cancel in the upper left hand corner. Very rare. Mail to Italy from ghettos is very scarce. Mail from H Dronzek to S Dronzek. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition but has been folded in half and shows wear. Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail with insurance.
