Description: This is an original 1948 Chevrolet T Bar. This T bar molding was recently acquired from the estate of an elderly collector. It was tagged as having been removed from a '48 Chevrolet Sedan in Texas over 30 years ago. This is an original Genuine GM '48 Chevrolet T Bar(or center grille bar). This T bar is in very good condition for its age. It is very straight, with only a couple very minute blemishes. Original chrome on front and top is still very shiney. Examined closely, some surface rust is present on both sides(see cut-outs for grille bars)(see pics). Still a very presentable original part that would look good on a driver or un-restored car as-is, or should be a good one to re-chrome for show. Back side has typical surface rust(see back side pics), but is solid. Chevrolet part number for this T bar molding is 3687150. As stated, correct for '48 Chevrolet cars, will also work on '47.
