There are rust spots as shown in the photos, the worse being on the front end of the firetruck, and the chromed parts are all missing the chrome plating and are now rusty (windshield frame, front bumper, and bell).There is a friction type motor inside. However, it does not propel the truck. When you move the truck forward by hand, about every two feet the 3 colored balls shoot forward in the clear nozzle on top of the truck. You can hear the “motor” inside operating loudly, but I do not know if should have any other functions other than the color balls shooting when moved every 2 feet.There is an oval shaped logo on one side which reads : “TRADE MARK TM MODERN TOYS” and underneath that “MADE IN JAPAN”.
