Description: This is a vintage Lionel O gague train set from the post-war era. It features 23 pieces of track,6 straight &17 curved pieces, and 4 plasticville houses in cardboard boxes that are in sad shape.There are 3 deconstructed buildings in plastic bags and I can't guarantee all the parts are there. I bagged up all the miscellaneous parts and put in 2 bags.The engine was tested on a few pieces of track and it moved forward and backwards using the transformer offered here. Besides the engine there are 8 cars, which include: Box car, SantaFe passenger car , Gondola car, Cattle car, hay hopper, coal tender, 2nd. box car and a caboose. *The coal tender body can separate from the wheel base. It sits back on, but I didn't want to glue it down. I'm listing this for an elderly friend who played with this train nearly 70 years ago. it has always been stored in a controlled environment. I've done the best I could to honestly describe this train set.*I received a message that not all of the freight cars are Lionel, some are MARX cars.
