Description: Offered is this vintage book "The Rainbow", the 1958 yearbook for the Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, Georgia, one of the oldest schools in continuous operation in the United States. The book is filled with all of the usual high school yearbook things; the students, of course, with photos, activities, sports, clubs, "beauties", etc., some campus photos, faculty, etc. The advertising section has ads for a variety of local and area-wide shops and businesses. This is a rare, maybe unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy of this particular yearbook for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The yearbook is approx. 12 1/8" x 9 1/2". The pages are not numbered but there appear to be well over 100. It is in good to very good condition. The padded hard cover has only light wear but does have moderate soiling. There is no cracking inside either the front or back covers. The white endpapers have browned around the edges and there are several student comments written in the front. I see no missing or torn pages. They have browned slightly but are otherwise mostly clean. Thee are some additional student comments within but this is not extensive. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
