Description: Vintage 1960s large scalloped fabric covered lamp shades. The exteriors are made of a stiff-backed fabric with a vertical slub pattern in yellow and white. The top and bottom edges are trimmed with tan velvet and an olive lace border. Inside is a spider harp fitter. The drum inside the shades is brittle and has already cracked in several areas. You can see where these holes are when the light is on, as shown in the lit photo. You could remove it entirely and it would not affect the structure of the shade but it would give brighter light. This would be very easy to do because it is so brittle and it's not attached to anything but the top and bottom ring. The green lace trim has changes in color, probably from the glue used, so now it's olive with tan spots consistent throughout. The velvet borders show fading and dinginess. There is one minor dent the size of a dime, shown. No cigarette smell. The shades measure 16.5" in height with a lower diameter of 16" and upper diameter of 14".The harp fitter sits 7" down from the top edge of the shade and ~9" up from the bottom edge.
