Description: Handsome fold-out Chevron road map of New York, printed more than 50 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Empire State, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Albany, and Long Island. This map was distributed in 1973 by the Standard Oil Company of California to promote its Chevron brand. It is dated in the legend and the code number in the lower margin is 9-UU. The front cover artwork shows a Chevron gas pump labeled "F-310" — the company's trademark for its polybutene amine gasoline additive. Condition: This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
