Description: Here's an early 1973 Vintage Shugart SA900 Diskette Storage Drive that was used to read/write from an 8 inch Floppy Drive. This was the first product of Shugart Associates and was sold from about 1973. It was intended particularly for use with mainframes and minicomputers. The Smithstonian museum has an SA901 in their catalog - the one in this auction predates theirs. Look over the photos and please ask any questions prior to the last day of the auction so I have time to answer them. I try and ship within three business days of receipt of payment.
