Description: 1978 THE STAND STEPHEN KING HARDCOVER 1st ED BOOK DOUBLEDAY T45 PANDEMIC FLU This Stephen king, The Stand released by Doubleday book club in 1978 is their first release. On page 823 which is the last text page is the identifier of T45. The book, on the front cover has one smudge on it which you should be able to see in my pictures. The very first page which is blank has a tiny tear about a half of an inch so does the next. I don't think these two were ever cut through completely they were still attached to each other and eventually came apart. The pages have somewhat discolored, yellowing just due to age. There's one spot where are the pages all come together when the book is closed. On page 1, it's not numbered, but the page that says book one Captain Trips, there is a small dark spot about an inch from the base of the page near the inside binding. It goes through the next couple of pages but fades significantly. I've taken pictures of it.There aren't any markings on any pages or folds, from what I saw. The book looks pretty good for being the age that it is. The dust jacket is missing. I try to describe all that I see. If you would like any additional pic, please just ask.
