Description: We have here a 1981 Ozzie Smith Original Topps Proof Card. This card was part of a huge collection of sports cards that we have on consignment. It was originally part of the Topps Guernsey’s Auction in 1989 in New York.. This is the actual proof that the individual cards came from. In a very few circumstances there were 2 final proofs made; but to the best of our knowledge each of these is the only existing proof. This is a consignment sale so all sales are final. We are also listing many more proofs including some progressive proof cards from a number of relatively famous athletes from the 70’s and 80’s; and in weeks to come we will be posting errors, black backs, boxes, thousands of cards, promos, and autographs. We have been coin collectors or dealers for 50+ years, sports cards and memorabilia is not our business. We will continue in the coin business but not looking to expand more in sports cards.
