The 1993-94 Leaf Hockey set consisted of 440 standard sized cards that were issued in two series of 220. The card fronts displayed colour action player photos that were full-bleed except at the card bottom, where a red diagonal edges the photo. Below the diagonal was a black stripe carrying the player’s name in gold foil lettering, and a team colour-coded triangle displaying the team logo. Against the background of the home team’s skyline or another prominent architectural landmark, the backs carried a colour player action photo, overprinted at the bottom with biographical and statistical information.
