Description: This is a lovely set of 4 antique fruit or dessert bowls made by Theodore Haviland of Limoges France. They are lovely and decorated with green scrolls, and what I have seen called wild pink roses. I believe this pattern is Schleiger 144, but please zoom in on the pictures and see what you think too! The edges are smooth, and there is a design impressed in the porcelain that can be seen with a light shining from underneath in one of the pictures. The red decorator mark was used from 1904 into the 1920’s so it is between about 100 and 120 years old. Three of the four bowls also have TH impressed into the porcelain. They are in excellent antique condition, with no chips, or cracks or crazing. The bowls each weigh almost 3 ounces each, are 4 & 7/8 inches in diameter, 1 inch tall and hold about 3-4 ounces, about 1/2 cup or a bit less. I think back then, in Victorian times, they would have been used to serve puddings, or berries and fruits.
