We have never had a complaint on this item :-) We also offer in another ebay listing bed rail extenders (ebay Item number:252379563067 ) that will allow you to fit a larger mattress on your bed ( fit queen mattress on a full or full on a 3/4 bed) these will fit either the angle up or angle down style rail. About 3" wide 1 " tall above the rail. They fit over the rail 1.35".
