Below, on two lines, the denomination is indicated (six-pointed stars on the left and right) and the monetary unit: 5 KOPEK Below is an element - a separator, consisting of two multi-directional arrows and five dots between them. Five points form a cross. Under the separator is the year of minting 1903. Below the year is the abbreviation S.P.B. (St. Petersburg Mint). On the left side of the coin along the edge there is a laurel branch, and on the right there is an oak branch. At the base, the branches are tied with a ribbon that forms a neat bow. Protruding teeth are minted along the entire edge of the coin. Reverse: The center of the obverse is occupied by the small coat of arms of the Russian Empire - a double-headed eagle. Both eagle heads bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is placed above and between the heads. All of them are connected by the ribbon of the Order of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called. On the eagles chest is the Moscow coat of arms; the shield depicts St. George the Victorious with a spear slaying a dragon. Around the shield is a chain of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle.
