Acer Aspire 5 A515 Laptop, Core i5-7200U - it was working until I fixed it

Description: This is an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51-563W 15.6 Core i5-7200U Laptop. I bought it new in Sept. 2017. I almost never took it out of the house. It mostly functioned as a spare desktop computer. I did not use it much, but I kept it plugged in to wall A/C. This may be why the battery went dead. I bought a replacement battery but didn't get around to installing it until 2022. My battery installation was not successful. Also, installing the replacement seemed to require me to remove the CMOS battery. The CMOS battery is probably dead too. While removing the CMOS battery, I pulled it free from its little plug. I was not sure how to replace and reinstall it. So now the CMOS battery is separate from the motherboard and also from the plug, as shown in the photo. I was careful while disassembling this computer, but I cannot rule out the possibility that I caused damage in some way that I did not notice or do not remember. In its present condition, this laptop does not run. Therefore I cannot test the display. As far as I recall, it was fine. I don't think there were any dead pixels, but I cannot guarantee that. There may be. The keyboard is new - that is, I bought and installed it in early 2023. The laptop has been sitting here, partly disassembled, in a plastic bag, since then. I used its hard drive elsewhere. The HDD caddy is still installed, though. The laptop came with Windows 10 Home installed. I obtained a recovery USB drive from Acer. That is included. I haven't tried it, but I assume you will be able to restore Win10 from that. I am also including a 64GB USB 3.0 drive containing a backup drive image of my initial installation. The USB drive also contains the drivers, owner's manual, and other related materials that I was able to find. This is a sale of a computer in basket-case condition. I would not advise an end user like myself to buy it. I assume this sale will be of interest primarily to those who have expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace parts as needed. There are no promises beyond what you see in the photos. No returns. Included in the (original) box: Acer laptop as described above, A/C charger/adapter, USB system recovery drive, USB with drivers etc., disconnected CMOS battery and wires, and a random USB cable that I think came with the keyboard or maybe the replacement battery.
