Description: Featuring a vintage Baule wood carved Guro wall hanging mask. The mask shows a face with realistic features and a bird mounted on the top; a common design with Guro masks. Made in Africa on the Ivory Coast the piece is a unique in design with a combination of traditional Baule features. Wall mount ready. In pre owned condition; there is a chip size break on the right side of read backing present along with paint loss present in several areas. All wear blends well with the piece and is consistent with the vintage; it adds to the look and feel of the piece. Please see photos.
