The pins may have some scratches on them from being moved in and out of boxes during storage and inventory counts. They are generally very nice and age-toning is the only thing that usually stands out. The pictures give a very good idea of what the pins look like. If you buy multiples of the same pin, there may be some differences among the pins as they don't all age exactly the same.
