The book was given to me shortly after publication. He signed the card for me when I attended one of his book signings in Carmel, CA in 1981. The book binding shows some wear, particularly on the inside crease where it meets the front and back covers, as does the dust jacket, slip case and shipping box. The signature page was an after-publication addition for just a select number of books. Please look at all the pictures to see the details and condition keeping in mind that my photography for this ad doesn't do justice to his.
