Description: Rare Vintage Antique 1920s 32nd Degree Scottish Rites Silver Cap Jeweled Ermine Foot Brooch. Stone is purple. The cap is silver. This brooch came from England. This is a family piece shrouded in secrecy. For over 50 years, none of the Masonic side of the family would talk about the origin of this piece. The excuse was you had to be a 32nd Degree Mason to even discuss this. It is listed pictorially in an 1880s chart of order for the English Scottish Rites Medals. Once I found this item in old heraldry Masonic charts, the last Masonic member of the family confirmed it was this item. I do not have the chart, but it can be found online. This item is rare and not publicly sold. This item has a hallmark stamp.
