Description: Old Balkan earrings from the late-Ottoman period, in gilt metal with turquoise glass articulated dangle earrings ~ Mot likely Greece. Unsigned /unmarked , did NOT test positive for silver most likely mix metal or lower grade silver . Dates : Probably 19th century or earlier. Measurements : Measures 2 1/2 inches in total length x 3/4 inches max width . Weighs 20 grams on my weighing scale . Condition : Good antique condition with heavy age patina ~ most likely screw-backs are later addition . Please Note ~ As vintage items are previously loved /used please do expect some minor wear like surface wear /dents /dings and metal discoloration .
