Description: Antique 1900s Dollhouse SIMON ET RIVOLLET BABY CARRIAGEVintage Penny Toy Furniture Small Scale ~ Circa 1900 This is a rare antique folding baby carriage for a dollhouse by Simon et Rivollet of France. It was painted white by a previous owner, and I painted it gold over the white. Note that the handle is detached from the side ~ not too noticeable if you are careful with it, and it is a delicate piece over 100 years old. The frame seems slightly bent to me, but this kind of metal does not adjust easily; it's more like Tootsie Toy furniture and tends to break if you try. It is smaller scale ~ perhaps 1:16, though I think that it looks cute as a pram for a doll's doll in 1:12. I am selling more Simon et Rivollet pieces in my shop! A measuring stick is shown in the photos. Please see photos carefully and ask questions if needed. I will give it another coat of paint because some white was showing.
