Description: What a lovely decorative cabinet plate. I think it's handpainted by the Pickard Co. of Wisconsin and later Chicago. The company made high quality porcelain. It was mainly a decorating company from 1893-1930s. Made mostly gift ware items. By the 1930S the company began producing tableware. Mr. Pickard would by blanks from Europe. (Mostly from France, Germany and England). The handpainting was done in America. This plate is marked Limoges France on the front. The poinsettias are 2 tones of pink with greenery and a heavy gold gilt around the rim. It looks like there was a backstamp but it's faded and unreadable. See pics for measurements. Excellent condition. NO CHIPS. NO CRACKS. NO FLEA BITES. Please message me with any questions you may have. Please check out my other listed items for sale. Thanks for stopping by.
