Description: Lovely antique ebony door knobs. These handles are original door knobs from the early 1900’s. A classic size of spindle and grub screw make them suitable for fitting with rim locks. The single backplate is in ebony too with 4 concealed screw holes for installation. The other side (without backplate) fits flush to the surface mounted rim lock. The handle has a lovely classic, timeless silhouette and the ebony is a lovely deep chocolate brown shade. Please note that there are some signs of wear from age and use, see photos, which includes a split to the backplate.
