Description: The green H&C stamp dates from 1876 - 1889The red Haviland & Co stamp dates from 1876 - 1878 & 1899 - 1931This set was made sometime between 1876 & 1878 or 1889 - they are the only years that both stamps were in use together. The Importer (WK Stafford & Co) on one piece only, was shown to be in operation from 1887 - 1890 which can narrow it down even further to 1889.
