Description: This is an antique early 20th century French Limoges porcelain George Borgfeldt Co. fish plate in fantastic shades of salmon, yellow, green and gold with 22 karat gold borders with beading and scalloping relief molding. It is well hand painted with fish swimming in aquatic grasses and plants. Very good antique condition - no chips or cracks, but gold borders is worn off (see pictures). Perfect and beautiful for your holiday table scape and family entertaining. Vey vibrant colors of colors of salmon, green, yellow and gold. Measures: The plates, 8.75" diameter and 1" high. The large platter, 17" long, 10.75" deep and 1.5" high. George Borgfeldt and Co. (Limoges, France) used this early mark from 1906-1920. Price reflect condition of the plate.
