Description: A rare Limoges hand painted rose ornate gold and hunter green footed fluted round bowel planter with insert. This piece comes with the rare insert stamped Limoges France. The insert is used to hold soil and plants. The insert by Limoges is extremely hard to find. The insert has two chips that are shown in the photo. These do not affect the function. Painted around the outside are large pink and yellow roses with green foliage. Inside is neutral colored. Rim is scalloped and painted in gold. The bowel is 5 1/4 inches tall and the rim is 9 inches wide. The insert is 3 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches wide.Both pieces are stamped in green Limoges France. The bowel has an imprinted stamp of 1361. View all photos for detail.No visible damage to the bowel other than very minor gold loss to rim.
