Antique SINGER Wood Folding Puzzle Accessory Box Parts Dovetailed Oak Contents

Description: Here is a wonderful example of the highly collectible wood box Singer patented in 1889 to hold their sewing machine attachments. The box itself is constructed of Oak with brass fittings and is marked on the lid as shown...I cannot make out what it says. When closed it measures approx. 6.5" long by 3.25" square. The ingenious design allows the box to "roll" out to a flat surface that holds all the attachments.When fully opened it measures approx. 12.25" long and the interior is lined with dark velvet. The box does contain many parts, as shown. It comes to you in great vintage condition and with everything shown. Please inspect all photos.
