The base looks to be made from an old fruit crate and the main body of painted tin. Please understand that this is a good honest old piece untouched undusted uncleaned. It sports it's original single coat of paint. It has various made up parts all hodge podged together and in the end a great little piece that is easy to look full of old world charm.
