Description: Antique Blue and White Transferware Porcelain Ceramic Tile. Made by Wm. Adams & Co. and distributed by S.S. Hartwell & Co. in Gloucester, MA. The tile also says Frances Mitchell Woodbury Co., Boston. It is titled, "LOBSTER FISHERMAN". Nautical Ocean Theme with an old fisherman and a little girl with a small boat. Beautiful tile. Measures 6" square. There is a small chip out of the left side toward the bottom, but it is still a great, old piece. Please see pictures. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire.
