This red welding tungsten electrode meets AWS classification EWTh-2 ensuring the extraordinary performance of striking an arc with lower amperages. These welding tungsten electrode rods are useful for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium alloys, copper alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminum alloys, and low-alloyed steels. Our electrode compared with WT20 material variant and the electron work function of tungsten-thorium oxide is significantly lower than that of pure tungsten.
