Description: Dollhouse Miniature 1:12 Scale Handmade Micro Petit Point Silk RugThis is for a dollhouse miniature beautiful handstitched silk rug. This is an elegant floral Asian style pattern. This is a micro petit point because it is stitched on 32 count silk gauze (incredibly thin, fine material). There are 1024 stitches per square inch. This rug has well over 65,000 stitches. It most likely took many months, possibly a year to make. The rug is very well made- very thin. The colors are various shades of blues. With most petit point rugs, they may not be perfectly squared to the corners. This rug has fairly good shape to it though. Very common on these rugs, as it is due to how they are woven. The last few photos show the back side. Rug is about 9 1/4" long x 7 3/4"- 7 7/8" wide. Please note: includes the rug only.
