This pocket watch was made approximately from the 1920s that was triple signed for Audemars Piguet & Co. At the time Audemars Piguet manufactuer was based in Brassus and it also maintained an office in Geneva thus it is signed on the dial ‘Brassus & Geneve’. This pocket watch is a perfect example of Audemars Piguet’s entry into the world’s elite watch brands in its capacity to manufacturer a pocket watch with Ultra Thin profile. It measures approximately 4mm thick which makes it one of the thinnest pocket watches on the market in the 1920s. This particular movement design is well known for being ultra thin and yet robust and durable. Condition-wise the watch runs and sets but do not make any guarantee on timekeeping or function as we don’t know its service history. We strongly recommend to have antique pocket watches fully serviced before putting it to regular use and this will help extend the life of the timepiece as well. The decision and responsibility to service the watch is made solely by the end-user. Cosmetically it has some scratches and patchy areas of tarnish to the dial. The outer edge of the dial has tarnished as well and this is mostly covered up by the bezel. Due to the thin profile of the case there are some small areas of unevenness to the caseback.
