It is made of felted wool, and zips up the side (see condition details). There is a stamped label on the inside that says "W.R. Touzeli / 248-06-25", which might be in reference to the soldier who owned it! It seems like there may have been a tag sewn into the back at the nape of the neck that has since been removed. This is a really amazing example of naval wear! MEASUREMENTS : Length: 23 inches Chest: 36 inches Waist: 34 inches Shoulders across the back: 16 inches Sleeves: 24 inches from the armpit to the cuff CONDITION : This shirt is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This shirt has a few small areas of damage. There are a few holes in the wool and a few areas of hand mending. There is a zipper up the left side, but its corroded, so it cannot be opened or closed. Still a phenomenal piece!
