BEAUTIFUL EARLY (1950s) TRANSITIONAL VOGUE GINNY DOLL SCOTCH IN SCOTTISH OUTFIT

Description: Beautiful Early 1950 Scotch Transition Vogue Ginny from the Frolicking Fables Series. Shipping includes Insurance 8" Hard plastic. Holds poses. Strung well. Sleep eyes in the open position which is accepted by most collectors. She is marked Vogue Doll on her back. No marks stains, cracks , rubs or bad odors. Rosy cheeks. Cheeks are a little light but lashes and brows are outstanding . Well defined color brown. Factory color on face and even color on body. Original beautiful red shiny nutex wig which makes me think she is a 1951 doll. Nutex is an early wig material. She has transitional eyes and the taffeta material of her plaid outfit. Her outfit is Scottish. It is a black velveteen top with gold rick rack trim. There is a plaid skirt with matching plaid taffeta panties, hat and scarf. She has a cute flower on the hat. She is wearing black Greek center snap shoes and white rayon socks. All in excellent condition. She is on Page 88 with Frolicking Fables (1951), First Edition in the pink version, by Izen and Stover, and the 1952 dolls on Page 97. She is also shown on Page 58 of Barbara Clarks; The Colorful World of Ginny; 1951 and 1952 Page 88. She is from my personal collection. I need more room.
