Interesting old quality violin in excellent condition. This beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams, and there're only some minor marks in it´s old varnish. In our workshop it received a scroll repair. The violin also received a new setup with new ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge, vew soundpost and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full tonal character of this violin!
