Description: This is a really lovely clay Box with a Wise Old Owl in a landscape with Cactus. This piece is all handmade, hand painted and Burnished in the pottery tradition called bruñido by an artist who signs his work "Mera" from Tonalá in Jalisco Mexico. I have other Clay Boxes, take a look in Ebay Store for a larger selection.... It measures 4 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 long by 2 1/2 inches deep. This Box is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art and Ceramic traditions from Jalisco Mexico. This is a newly made piece and is in perfect condition and is signed on the bottom.
