Description: B&W ASW 500 active subwoofer - Excellent Condition! I am the original owner. This subwoofer was in a clean, non-smoking home. It was used in conjunction with the DM603-S2 Speakers and Accuphase Pre-amp and Amp. It was outstanding!! This 10" subwoofer is built with quality and gives a clean, detailed, "punch" without the boom-iness associated with some of the larger Subs. It is balanced, with plenty of controls to tailor the response to your liking.In my opinion, the accuracy and power are just enough to underpin and provide the solid bottom that you "feel". Please note, there are only a few minor scratches on the top which is not bad for vintage equipment of this type.These scratches are hardly noticeable and do not affect the sound in any way. This Subwoofer will sit wherever you place it and provide the satisfying bottom end to whatever you play through your main speakers.
