Description: CARLY SIMONYOU'RE SO VAIN b/w THE RIGHT THING TO DOELECTRA/ASYLUM SPUN GOLD RECORDS (Original Release 1972) I recently downsized and have to part with many of my vinyl records, some I've owned for decades This is a wonderful copy of the vintage 45rpm vinyl record, originally recorded & released by CARLY SIMON, back in 1972. This is a 2 "A" side hit record The vinyl here is just beautiful, clean & shiny with few imperfections, if any. Recently played for quality resulted in wonderful uninterrupted music. GOLDMINE gives this a NM-, and I agree.(NOTE there is teeny/tiny dimple in the vinyl which does NOT affect the sound, It sounds TERRIFIC) It comes with an ELECTRA/ASYLUM paper sleeve which is just about as nice. (NOTE, paper sleeves used for 45rpm records are typically very thin so minor creasing may be expected. Some sleeves may be NM, some EX & some may show minor tape repair or even an initial, ALL are intact)Each record will come with a clear protective plastic outer sleeve))NO stickers NO writing NO seam splits GOLDMINE standards at EX+ VINYL - M = Perfect, M- or NM = probably played but still looks close to near perfect, super shiny, NM- = Very light signs of being played but right up there & close to, 'like new' EX++ - Very light scuff or signs of being handled that does not affect play, still shiny EX+ - Very close to an EX++ SLEEVE - M = Perfect, M- or NM = Package has been opened but still looks close to 'like new', NM- still beautiful outer package, just a bit more visual signs of use. EX++ = Light signs of ring, edge/handling wear, possibly some discoloration, EX+ = More noticeable ring & edge wear, more discolorationGOLDMINE is a known grading system, wonderful for vinyl records. I typically refer to it, but, using my eyes, ears & experience is an important tool. Doing all this is an important tool that works for me, as well as you. I GRADE AS IF I'M BUYING FOR MYSELF!GOLDMINE does not refer to a HAZE, but I see it on some older records. A very light 'cloudy' or 'hazy' appearance that does not affect playback.
