In 2003 he completed an internship to prepare his doctoral thesis at École Nationale Supérieure dArts et Métiers in Aix-en-Provence, France and has a PhD in industrial engineering since 2010.Ionu Gabriel Ghionea published, as first author or co-author, 12 books in the field of Computer Aided Design for mechanical engineering and over 125 papers in scientific technical journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of the editorial board and review panel of several international and national journals and conferences.In addition, he participated in research projects with applicability in industry and education.
