The ' After the Line "Idly Watching Children Catch Willow Flowers" ' original was painted by Chou Ch'en (ca. 1460-after 1535) in the Ming Dynasty. It features a scholar watching children playing in the breeze under a willow tree trying to catch the falling flowers. Frame measurements: 23 3/4" long by 16" wide by 3/4" deep. Features: Exquisite ink detail and vibrant colors; The wood frame is impressive with bronze tone etched hardware; Decorative gold tone ornate mounting hardware; Beautifully finished brocade cloth backing on backside of the frame.
