MATERIALS AND SIZE The acorn bodies are handmade from merino wool using a wet felting process. I collect the caps on my adventures. I am in Ohio, and am using acorn caps from Ohio oaks. The size of the finished acorns may vary slightly due to variances in nature. The size of each finished acorn is between 5/8" and 1" in size.
