Item description: Vase in very fine hard-paste porcelain entirely hand-decorated with floral, leaf and bird decorations, finished in pure gold with meticulous brush-tip decorations, and then glazed with third-fire firing, numbered in red under the base "6720". The vase can be dated to the end of the 18th or early 19th century, between 1780 and 1830.Information on artist and/or manufacturer:The vase is easily attributable to the famous English manufacture of Coalport, famous above all for porcelain vases and plates with similar decorations and style. Most of the porcelains of this manufacture were not signed. Another element that leads us to attribute the vase to this manufacture is the numbering. Indeed, both the font and the slightly faded red coloring are characteristic of English porcelain, in particular of Coalport or Derby, but between the two we favor the latter.Useful information for the evaluation of the object:In the last photos we have placed historical notes on the manufacture and a photo of a similar vase, not signed like ours, and attributed to the Coalport manufacture, sold on 1stdibs for almost €2000.
