Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a set of connector housings and crimp connectors for the electric power steering control module wiring for various 2003-2011 GM column mounted power steering motors including the Vue (2002-2007), Cobalt (2005-2010), HHR (2006-2011), G5 (2007-2010), Ion (2003-2007), and Equinox (2005-2007) direct electric power steering system. Please refer to the attached photos to make sure these connectors match your module before purchasing. These are OEM-quality connectors sourced from one of the largest OEM suppliers. Note that the black 6-position connector we include is a direct replacement for the OEM grey keyed connector. The original keyway is not required to ensure proper connector positioning. All our products are assembled by hand in the United States. You will get the main battery power connector with two terminals and the terminal retainer and the data connector with three terminals as shown in the pictures. The OEM installation uses three wires on the 6-position connector. The main battery power terminals are designed for 5 mm2 to 8 mm2 wire roughly equivalent to 12 AWG to 8 AWG. The data connectors are designed for 0.3 mm2 to 0.56 mm2 wire roughly equivalent to 22 AWG to 20 AWG. Please note the unique "rabbit ear" style crimp on the data terminal insulation crimp. This is required for the secondary terminal lock. This kit does not include the motor connector as the motor wiring is typically long enough for most installations and is hard wired to the motor. With this connector set you aren't limited to cutting up and splicing junkyard wire looms. This kit will allow you to build a custom wire loom with no wire splices. The steering control module shown is for illustrative purposes only and is not included.
