His numerous "Jungle" Comics featured scantily clad, over-endowed women in animal skins specifically designed to reach off the page & grab the predominantly adolescent male comic-book buying public right by their titillation handles (& this would soon include the massive demographic of young enlisted men who, during WWII, were forced to barracks-up without the company of young women) & who welcomed the images of the sexy jungle queens to haunt their lonely nights (or whenever they could get away to be alone, just like you). A brief examination of the posing of many of these female characters almost suggests that there was an editorial rule to make as many of these women's poses be suggestive enough to lend themselves to near-pornographic ideation (& the tracing paper & drawing tablets of many aspiring young 1940s teenage artists might bear this out, if the pages aren't too stuck together).
