The illustrated object, made in 1989 from clear and black anodized aluminum, is a "floor piece "-a work that stands directly on the floor without a traditional sculptural pedestal. The gallery exhibition featured objects and prints created between 1965 and 1991. The artist developed his art as "real" under his own firm material conditions, detached from concepts such as metaphor and illusion. The work used in the poster was created in 1989 using black and colorless anodized aluminum (*note), and is a "floor piece" that is installed directly on the floor without using a pedestal for a sculptural work as is conventionally seen.
